3 Days Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Tour

After breakfast or upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a guide will meet you and transfer you to Waterfront Pier in Entebbe. Here, you will board a speedboat for a scenic ride across Lake Victoria (approx. 45 minutes). Enjoy the journey as you cross the Equator en route to the island.

Upon arrival at Ngamba Island, you will be welcomed at the Visitor Education Center, followed by an orientation about the island, its conservation mission, and the chimpanzees in residence. In the late afternoon, participate in the evening chimpanzee feeding session, a highlight of your visit.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast by the lakeshore, followed by a full schedule of chimpanzee-related activities. Engage in any of the following (based on interest and availability):

• Participate in chimpanzee feeding and enrichment activities
• Join the Chimpanzee Caregiver Experience
• Go for a guided forest walk on the Ngamba Trail
• Visit nearby fishing villages for a cultural encounter
• Relax in your tent or enjoy an optional massage (luxury)
• Later in the afternoon, embark on a sunset boat cruise across Lake Victoria, a romantic experience for couples or honeymooners.

Enjoy breakfast while listening to the morning calls of chimpanzees. Later, board a boat back to Entebbe where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, residence, or the airport for your onward journey.
